DSLR stands for “Digital Single Lens Reflex”.
A DSLR is a digital camera that uses mirrors to direct light from the lens to the viewfinder, Which is a hole on the back of the camera that you look through to see what you are taking a picture of. Exposure
Before taking a Photo, Consider the following
Aperture in a camera
Size of Aperture- Large VS Small Aperture -In photography , aperture is expressed in f-numbers (for example f/5.6). These f-numbers that are known as “f-Stops” are a way of describing the size of the aperture, or how open or closed the aperture is. Apertures
Shutter Speed
For example ¼ means a quarter of a second, while 1/250 means one two hundred and fiftieth of a second or four milliseconds. Rule of thumb for shutter speed The slowest shutter speed for handheld is 1/60. Anything lower then that should either be on a tripod on a straight, solid surface. Any slower handheld shutter speed begins to get motion blur and your photograph may be out of focus. ISO
General rule of thumb
Modes on the DSLR M- Manual Control over aperture and shutter A- Aperture Priority (Focus on the flower and not the background) S- Shutter Priority (Focus of moving objects and captures movement) P- Camera sets shutter speed and aperture How to hold a DSLR

The image above is an camera obscura. A camera obscura is an image carried by light illuminating the image from outside into a dark room. The image is what ever is outside from whats on that side where the light is coming in. The image is flipped but can be set right with a mirror. This helped start the world of photography because it helped grasp an understanding of how light works and how to capture it. In order to make a camera obscura. The time to do this is when the sun is out, then you will also need a dark room. Keep the room entirely dark and make a little hole where light can travel and carry an image through. The light travels into the dark room and projects it onto the wall or what ever is in front of it. What you would want to do it=s cover all windows or any ways light gets in by putting black curtains or black paper anything to completely darken the room. then create a hole where the light can travel right through.
This is a picture of me sitting on a roof at my school. Its a representative on how I'm trying to rise above, hence me on the roof. The color is me being different and myself blue is also my favorite color so it represents how I really want to be different and above. The grey and blur represents everyone else who are okay with being normal and happy with an average life. and how they surround and get you to be okay with average. The app I used for this was PixLr to do all the different effects in this picture.
